AA Jeopardy

DO YOU BELONG?
DOING THE WORK
LIVING SOBER
Allergy to alcohol
Resentment is the “number one” offender
Whoopee parties
The real alcoholic
Matching calamity with serenity
Our pick struck gold
Rocketed into a 4th Dimension
Quieting the imperious urge
Emotional security
Methods we have tried
Instincts on rampage

Happy, joyous and free
Jim – whiskey and milk
Rebellion dogs our every step
Four horsemen
The jaywalker
Fit spiritual condition
Pet who grows into a monster
Fred and the alcoholic mind
Courtesy, kindness, justice, and love
“That awful ache so deep in the heart of every alcoholic”
Problems other than alcohol
Inspiration

Magic magnifying mind
Ed and the “God nonsense”
Nothing much can grow in the dark
You will be free
Stepping on the toes of our fellows
Conscious Contact
One day at a time

About Me

My photo
Kelly Clark
Desolation Ghosts is my first novel. My realism style has similarities to James Dickey, Pete Dexter, and Jack Kerouac, whose experiences in the North Cascades serve as a historical backdrop to the story. I have a bachelor’s degree in English and have published several newspaper articles in the San Diego Union-Tribune and Bellingham Weekly and a short story in red literary magazine. I wrote obituaries during the decline of newspapers, served as a cop in the U.S. Air Force, worked on a crisis response team, and dispatched at North Cascades National Park.
